Waiting for the Messiah

The Economic Stabilization Plan halted runaway inflation, and the IDF withdrew to the security zone in southern Lebanon.

  1. Operation Moses is halted after its details leak to the media.
  2. In the Jibril deal, Israel releases 1,150 prisoners in exchange for three soldiers held in Lebanon.
  3. The IDF completes its withdrawal from most of Lebanon to the security zone in the south.
  4. The government approves the Economic Stabilization Plan, which halts inflation within months.
